The Punjab government has said that its flagship **Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana has provided cashless healthcare benefits to nearly 2.5 lakh patients since its launch. According to the latest figures released by the state, 2,42,917 patients have availed free cashless treatment under the scheme.

The government stated that a total of 4,79,602 medical procedures and treatments for various illnesses have been carried out under the initiative. The cumulative value of these treatments is estimated at ₹852 crore, with beneficiaries receiving medical care without direct payment at empanelled hospitals.
Cashless Treatment Under Punjab’s Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana
Under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana, eligible families are entitled to cashless treatment of up to ₹10 lakh per year. The state government says the programme is aimed at reducing the financial burden of healthcare and improving access to quality medical services across Punjab.
The latest update was also shared by the AAP Punjab unit on social media, highlighting that the number of beneficiaries is approaching the 2.5 lakh mark. The government has maintained that the scheme continues to expand its reach, offering financial protection to families requiring costly medical treatment.
