Bhagwant Mann has continued its statewide campaign against organized crime under the “Gangstran Te Vaar” initiative, carrying out coordinated raids against gangster networks and their associates across the state.

According to Punjab Police, the latest operation was conducted in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab and involved targeted action at identified locations linked to criminal networks. During the crackdown, authorities arrested 275 individuals and apprehended four proclaimed offenders.

With the latest arrests, the total number of individuals apprehended under the campaign has reached 35,359 since its launch. Authorities stated that continuous intelligence gathering, coordinated enforcement actions, and targeted raids remain central to the anti-gangster initiative.
Punjab Police reiterated its commitment to dismantling criminal networks and maintaining law and order across the state. Officials have also encouraged citizens to share information related to criminal activities through the Anti-Gangster Helpline, assuring confidentiality for informants.
The campaign is one of several measures undertaken by the state to strengthen public safety, combat organized crime, and enhance security across Punjab.
