Taking to social media, the Chief Minister said the overbridge will be constructed at a cost of ₹54.76 crore and will be completed within the stipulated timeframe. He assured that the project will be expedited and dedicated to the public at the earliest.

Bridge Will Be Huge Relief 

"This overbridge will be a huge relief for commuters in Dhuri, especially in reducing wait times at railway crossings and improving transport efficiency," said a government official from the Punjab PWD department.

The announcement has been welcomed by local residents and civic groups, who have long demanded a permanent solution to traffic delays caused by frequent train movement in the area.

This project is part of the state government's ongoing push to improve infrastructure in key towns and cities across Punjab.
