Bhagwant Mann Conduct 563 Raids, Arrest 230 in Day 260 of Gangstran Te Vaar Campaign

The Bhagwant Mann intensified its statewide crackdown on gangster networks, conducting 563 raids and arresting 230 individuals on Day 260 of its ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign. The operation was carried out in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab at identified and mapped locations across the state.

According to the Punjab Police, five proclaimed offenders were also apprehended and one weapon was recovered during the latest operation. With these actions, the total number of arrests since the campaign began has reached 76,820, reflecting the scale of the ongoing enforcement drive.

Bhagwant Mann Mann Conduct 563 Raids Across the State

As part of the campaign, police teams conducted targeted raids at locations identified through mapping and intelligence inputs. The coordinated operation aimed to identify suspects linked to gangster networks and take action against those allegedly involved in criminal activities.

230 Arrested, Five Proclaimed Offenders Apprehended

During Day 260 of ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’, police arrested 230 individuals and apprehended five proclaimed offenders. A weapon was also recovered during the operation.

The action forms part of the police department’s continuing efforts to track wanted individuals, disrupt criminal networks and prevent organised crime. The authorities have reported a cumulative total of 76,820 arrests since the campaign’s launch.
