Bhagwant Mann continued its statewide crackdown on gangster networks under the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign, conducting 484 targeted raids across Punjab in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF).
According to official information, 238 individuals were detained during the operation, while three proclaimed offenders were apprehended. Police teams also recovered one weapon during the raids.

Over 28,000 arrests so far
Police stated that a total of 28,336 arrests have been made since the launch of the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ initiative. The campaign includes coordinated raids, intelligence-based operations, and strict monitoring of criminal activities across multiple districts.

Punjab Police reiterated its commitment to ensuring a safer Punjab and urged citizens to share information related to gangster activities through the anti-gangster helpline.

Officials said the operations are being carried out regularly with support from specialized units and local police teams to curb organized crime, illegal weapons, and gang-related activities in the state.
