Bhagwant Mann, in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), conducted 521 raids across the state as part of its ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign against gangster networks and their associates.
According to Punjab Police, 285 individuals were arrested during the latest operation, while five proclaimed offenders were also apprehended. Four weapons were recovered during the raids.

The latest operation marked the 247th day of the statewide campaign. With 285 fresh arrests, the total number of arrests made under the campaign has reached 73,415, according to police data.
Police teams also took preventive action against 157 individuals during the latest drive.
The campaign was launched on January 20, 2026, with police teams from districts across Punjab working alongside the AGTF to conduct targeted operations against identified gangster networks and their associates.
Punjab Police Appeals for Public Information
Punjab Police has urged residents to share information related to wanted criminals, gangsters and criminal activities.
People can provide information anonymously through the Anti-Gangster Helpline at 93946-93946, according to the police.
The force said the campaign would continue with the objective of dismantling gangster networks and strengthening public safety across Punjab.
