Punjab Police on Wednesday said it continued its statewide crackdown against organised crime under the ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign, conducting 552 raids across Punjab in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF).
According to the police, the Day 113 operation led to the detention of 268 individuals from various identified locations across the state. Officials also said six proclaimed offenders were apprehended during the drive and three weapons were recovered.

Punjab Police stated that the total number of arrests made since the launch of the anti-gangster campaign has now reached 28,819.
Bhagwant Mann: Coordinated action against gangster networks
Police officials said the raids were carried out simultaneously in multiple districts as part of efforts to dismantle gangster networks and identify individuals linked to organised criminal activities.
Authorities added that teams conducted searches at suspected hideouts and monitored activities of criminals and their associates during the statewide operation.

In its statement, Punjab Police reiterated its commitment to ensuring public safety and maintaining strict action against gang-related activities in the state.
The department also appealed to citizens to share information related to organised crime anonymously through the Anti-Gangster Helpline number 93946-93946 to assist ongoing investigations and enforcement efforts.
