Bhagwant Mann, in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab, conducted 568 raids across the state as part of its ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign against gangster networks. According to the Punjab Police, the latest statewide operation resulted in the arrest of 218 individuals, while eight proclaimed offenders were also apprehended.

In a social media update marking Day 263 of the campaign, Punjab Police said targeted raids were carried out at identified and mapped locations across the state as part of its continued efforts to crack down on organised criminal networks.

Punjab Police reiterated its commitment to taking action against gangster networks and ensuring a safer environment for residents.
The department also encouraged people to share information about criminal activities through its Anti-Gangster Helpline, 93946-93946. According to the police post, information can be shared anonymously to help authorities pursue action against suspected gangster networks.
