Bhagwant Mann Day 106 of its anti-gangster campaign ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ carried out large-scale raids across the state in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF).
According to official information, the police conducted 586 targeted raids as part of the continued crackdown against organised crime and gangster networks operating in Punjab.
Bhagwant Mann: 308 arrested during statewide operation
During the operation, authorities arrested 308 individuals, including 13 proclaimed offenders, while also recovering seven weapons from different locations.
Over 27,000 arrests since campaign launch
Punjab Police stated that the total number of arrests under the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ initiative has now reached 27,037 since the campaign was launched.
Focus on dismantling gangster networks
Officials said the operations are aimed at weakening organised criminal groups, tracking absconding accused, and preventing illegal activities linked to gang violence and extortion.

The police reiterated their commitment to ensuring a safer Punjab through sustained enforcement action and intelligence-based operations against criminal networks.
Public asked to share information
Citizens have also been encouraged to share information anonymously through the Anti-Gangster Helpline to support ongoing operations against organised crime in the state.
