Bhagwant Mann on Thursday said it intensified its ongoing campaign against organised crime by carrying out a large-scale statewide operation targeting gangster networks.

Bhagwant Mann Conducts 600 Raids
According to the police, teams conducted 600 coordinated raids at identified locations across Punjab in collaboration with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF). During the operation, 333 people were arrested, while eight proclaimed offenders were taken into custody. Police also reported the recovery of eight weapons.

Officials said the action was part of the continuing “Gangstran Te Vaar” campaign aimed at disrupting criminal networks and strengthening law and order across the state.
Punjab Police added that the cumulative number of arrests made since the launch of the campaign has reached 49,603. The department reiterated its commitment to taking sustained action against organised crime and urged citizens to assist investigations by sharing information through its anonymous Anti-Gangster Helpline at 93946-93946.
