Bhagwant Mann Continues Anti-Drug Campaign Under ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’

Officials stated that raids and coordinated enforcement actions are being conducted regularly in different districts.

Punjab Police continued its statewide anti-drug campaign under the ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ initiative, carrying out raids and enforcement operations across multiple locations in Punjab.

According to officials, police arrested 16 alleged drug smugglers and recovered 3.5 kg of heroin along with ₹64,500 believed to be linked to drug-related activities.

Rehabilitation Efforts Also Conducted

Police stated that six individuals were counselled and encouraged to undergo de-addiction and rehabilitation treatment as part of efforts aimed at reducing substance abuse and supporting recovery initiatives.

Authorities said the campaign combines law enforcement action with rehabilitation measures to address drug-related issues in the state.

Ongoing Crackdown Against Narcotics Networks

Punjab Police reported that the operations are part of the continuing ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ campaign focused on dismantling narcotics networks and curbing illegal drug trafficking.
