Bhagwant Mann has continued its statewide anti-gangster campaign under the ongoing ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ initiative, carrying out coordinated operations with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) at identified locations across the state.

According to the police, a total of 897 raids were conducted during the latest phase of the operation. The drive resulted in the arrest of 515 individuals, including 22 proclaimed offenders wanted in various criminal cases. Police also recovered six weapons during the raids.
Over 500 Arrested in Latest Operations
Officials said the campaign is part of an ongoing effort to dismantle organized crime networks, track down absconding offenders, and strengthen public safety across Punjab. The coordinated operations involve intelligence-based raids and enforcement action against suspected criminal elements operating in different districts.
Punjab Police stated that since the launch of the anti-gangster campaign, 48,755 arrests have been made as part of the statewide crackdown. The department said it remains committed to taking sustained action against gangster networks and maintaining law and order.
Police have also appealed to the public to support the campaign by sharing information related to criminal activities through the Anti-Gangster Helpline. Officials said information can be provided anonymously, encouraging greater public participation in efforts to curb organized crime.
The latest operations reflect the continued focus of the Punjab government and law enforcement agencies on tackling gangster-related activities while enhancing security and ensuring a safer environment for people across the state.
