Bhagwant Mann has intensified its ongoing campaign against organized crime, continuing its statewide anti-gangster operation under ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ on Day 179. The operation was carried out in close coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), Punjab, with teams conducting targeted raids at identified and mapped locations across the state.

According to Punjab Police, the coordinated action is part of a sustained effort to dismantle gangster networks, curb criminal activities, and strengthen public safety across Punjab. The raids were conducted based on intelligence inputs, with law enforcement agencies focusing on locations linked to suspected gang members and criminal associates.

Officials stated that the campaign reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to maintaining law and order while taking strict action against organized crime. The ongoing operations aim to disrupt the activities of gangster groups and prevent them from carrying out illegal activities that threaten peace and security.
Punjab Police has also appealed to citizens to actively support the fight against crime by sharing information about gangster-related activities. To encourage public participation, the department has urged people to report information anonymously through its Anti-Gangster Helpline: 93946-93946.
The department reiterated its resolve to continue intelligence-based operations and coordinated enforcement actions until gangster networks operating in the state are effectively dismantled.
