Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann extended heartfelt wishes to children and their parents on the occasion of Children’s Day, celebrated every year on November 14. He noted that every child deserves access to education, safety and other basic facilities that help them grow into confident and capable individuals.
The Chief Minister stated that the Punjab Government is continuously working to improve the quality of schooling through better infrastructure, modern learning tools and student-centric reforms. He added that ensuring safe environments—both at home and in school—remains a top priority for the administration.
Focus on Child Welfare
Under the Mann Government, several initiatives have been taken to strengthen child protection systems, expand opportunities for underprivileged children and improve accessibility to essential services. Schemes related to nutrition, healthcare and mental well-being are being upgraded to make support more holistic and effective.
Education as the Core
Mann highlighted that meaningful education can transform not just individual lives but entire communities. The state is pushing for smart classrooms, teacher training programmes and activity-based learning to make education more engaging and future-ready.
A Vision for a Safer, Brighter Future
Reaffirming his commitment, Bhagwant Mann said that the government will continue to work towards creating an environment where every child feels valued, protected and empowered. He urged parents and teachers to collaborate with the government to ensure that children grow up with opportunities, dignity and joy.
