The Bhagwant Mann government’s statewide ‘Gangsters Te Vaar’ campaign has completed 200 days, with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab highlighting the scale of police action against organised crime, illegal weapons and criminal networks across the state.
According to figures shared by AAP Punjab, police teams carried out raids at 1,09,087 locations during the 200-day campaign. The party said 1,04,927 individuals were brought under police action as part of the crackdown.

AAP Punjab said the campaign also resulted in the recovery of a significant quantity of illegal arms and ammunition.
According to the figures released by the party, police recovered:
- 990 illegal weapons
- 2,739 cartridges
- 15 hand grenades
The party presented the figures as evidence of intensified action against criminal elements operating in Punjab.

AAP Punjab said the extensive police operations over the past 200 days demonstrate the government’s focus on tackling organised crime and preventing the circulation of illegal weapons.
The campaign has also brought the issue of gangster-related crime and illegal arms into sharper focus, as authorities continue efforts to disrupt criminal networks operating across the state.
