Bhagwant Mann Government Intensifies Crackdown as Punjab Police Marks 307 Days of ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’

Punjab Police reaffirmed its commitment to taking the campaign forward with the same intensity, ensuring that law enforcement.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Punjab Police continues its sustained and aggressive campaign against drug abuse, marking 307 days of the state-wide anti-drugs drive ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’. The campaign reflects the Mann government’s firm resolve to make Punjab a drug-free state and safeguard the future of its youth.

Bhagwant Mann Government Intensifies Crackdown

According to official data released by Punjab Police, extensive action was taken across the state on the 307th day of the campaign. As many as 318 locations were raided as part of focused operations targeting drug networks. These raids led to the arrest of 93 drug smugglers, dealing a significant blow to the narcotics supply chain.

Punjab Police Marks 307 Days of ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’

With these latest arrests, the total number of drug traffickers apprehended over the past 307 days has risen to 42,888, highlighting the scale and consistency of the crackdown. Punjab Police stated that the campaign is being executed through a combination of intelligence-based raids, intensive search operations, and continuous awareness initiatives, aimed not only at enforcement but also prevention.

The #NashaMuktPunjab mission emphasizes community participation alongside strict policing. Awareness drives are being conducted in villages, towns, and urban areas to educate citizens, especially the youth, about the dangers of drug abuse and to encourage public cooperation in reporting illegal activities.

The Bhagwant Mann-led government has repeatedly stressed that there will be zero tolerance for drug smugglers, and that action will continue relentlessly against those attempting to destroy lives through narcotics.
