Bhagwant Mann Government Jobs Without Bribes or Recommendations, Says AAP; Youth Shares Recruitment Experience

The post featured a young candidate who shared his experience from appearing for the recruitment examination to being selected for a government position.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has highlighted the experience of a young job aspirant who said the recruitment process under the Bhagwant Mann government was transparent and free from bribery or political recommendations.

In a post shared by AAP Punjab, the party said that government jobs in Punjab are being provided on the basis of merit, without the need for bribes or personal recommendations. The post featured a young candidate who shared his experience from appearing for the recruitment examination to being selected for a government position.

According to AAP Punjab, the candidate expressed gratitude for what the party described as a transparent and well-managed recruitment system under the Mann government. The party said such opportunities are helping young people in Punjab realise their dreams of securing government employment.

Bhagwant Mann Highlights Merit-Based Recruitment in Punjab

The recruitment issue has remained an important part of the Bhagwant Mann government’s governance narrative. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has repeatedly stated that government jobs are being offered on merit and without bribery, favouritism or recommendations.

In July 2026, Mann said that more than 68,000 government jobs had been provided through a transparent recruitment process since his government took office. He described merit as the key factor determining success in government employment.

Earlier in June, Mann said that the government had provided more than 67,000 jobs and maintained that recruitment examinations were being conducted transparently.

Focus on Youth Employment

For thousands of government-job aspirants, transparent examinations and merit-based selection are major concerns. AAP Punjab says its recruitment policy is aimed at ensuring that candidates can compete for government positions without relying on political connections or financial influence.
