Bhagwant Mann Government Says 882 Students Cleared NEET
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said the government’s focus is on expanding opportunities for young people and improving the quality of education in Punjab. The remarks were shared by AAP Punjab as part of its comparison of the current government’s performance with previous administrations.
Nearly 70,000 Government Jobs Given
According to the claims shared by AAP Punjab, the state government has so far provided around 70,000 government jobs. The party said these appointments have been made without bribery or political recommendations.
The government has also emphasised improvements in government schools, with various facilities being provided to students. The focus on school infrastructure and facilities is being presented as an important part of the administration’s education agenda.
A key point highlighted by the Chief Minister was the performance of Punjab students in the NEET examination. According to the figures shared by AAP Punjab, 882 students cleared NEET this year, reflecting what the party described as progress in the state’s education sector.
NEET is the major entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India. The number of students qualifying for the examination is therefore an important indicator of participation and performance in medical entrance education.
The AAP Punjab leadership linked the reported increase in NEET qualifiers with the government’s focus on strengthening public education. Better facilities in government schools, the party said, are intended to provide students with improved learning opportunities.
