The Punjab Government has urged traders and business owners to take advantage of the One Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme before the July 31 deadline, saying the initiative provides an opportunity to settle pending tax-related dues under prescribed terms.

According to AAP Punjab, the Bhagwant Mann-led government has once again introduced the OTS scheme to help eligible traders and businesses resolve outstanding liabilities and encourage greater tax compliance.

Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said the scheme is aimed at providing relief to businesses while improving revenue collection through voluntary settlements. He encouraged eligible applicants to complete the process before the closing date to avail themselves of the benefits offered under the scheme.
The party also highlighted the state’s GST revenue performance, claiming that the Punjab Government has collected ₹94,000 crore in GST revenue during its four years in office, compared with ₹64,000 crore collected during the previous Congress government’s five-year tenure.
AAP Punjab said the government remains committed to strengthening the state’s financial position while creating a business-friendly environment through taxpayer-focused initiatives and transparent governance.
