Harjot Singh Bains on Wednesday said the Punjab government is working to transform the state into a “Rangla Punjab” by ensuring better facilities and opportunities for every section of society, particularly students and young people.
In a statement shared on social media, the minister said the government is focusing on providing quality education to children while simultaneously creating new avenues of jobs and employment within Punjab.
Harjot Bains stated that the aim is to ensure that the youth of Punjab can build a secure and prosperous future within their own state instead of seeking opportunities elsewhere.
Bhagwant Mann: Focus on education and skill development
The minister said the state government is strengthening the education sector by improving school infrastructure, modernising teaching methods and expanding access to quality learning opportunities for students.
Officials added that efforts are also being made to equip students with skills and training that can improve employability and support long-term career growth.
Government aims to retain youth in Punjab
According to the minister, the Punjab government is working towards creating an environment where young people can find stable employment and entrepreneurial opportunities within the state.
The government believes that improving education and expanding employment prospects will contribute towards economic growth and help build a more vibrant and progressive Punjab.
