Punjab Police: In a significant development under the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government, the Anti Gangster Task Force (#AGTF) of Punjab Police, in coordination with Tarn Taran Police, arrested the second accused, Arshdeep Singh, from village Batth, Tarn Taran. The arrest is connected to the murder of Jagdeep Mola in March 2025.

Earlier, Rahul Singh, the prime accused in the case, was apprehended by the AGTF. Preliminary investigations reveal that two unidentified assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire near Gurudwara Sri Darbar Sahib, Tarn Taran, killing Jagdeep Singh before fleeing the scene.
