The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has highlighted the welfare initiatives of the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government, saying the schemes are aimed at improving household nutrition and promoting women’s dignity and self-reliance across the state.

AAP Punjab said the Meri Rasoi Yojana is helping deliver nutritious ration to the kitchens of nearly 40 lakh families in Punjab. The party described the initiative as an effort to strengthen food security and support families.

The party also highlighted the Mawan-Dhiyan Satikar Yojana, calling it an important step towards respecting women and helping them become more self-reliant.

The Bhagwant Mann government has been promoting welfare and women-focused programmes as part of its governance agenda. AAP Punjab said such initiatives are intended to provide direct support to ordinary households while strengthening the social and economic position of women in Punjab.
The party maintained that initiatives focused on nutrition, family welfare and women’s empowerment can contribute to improving the quality of life of people across the state.
