On the sacred occasion of the 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the Bhagwant Mann–led Punjab government has announced unprecedented health and emergency arrangements to ensure safety and comfort for the arriving Sangat. Marking 350 years of supreme sacrifice (1675–2025), the state has prepared large-scale medical facilities across Sri Kiratpur Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib, and Ropar.
Round-the-Clock Emergency Services for Devotees
The Punjab Government has set up 24×7 emergency medical services at key pilgrimage locations to manage the heavy influx of devotees. These centres are equipped to handle all types of medical needs during the commemorative events.
19 New Aam Aadmi Clinics Launched
As part of this special health initiative, 19 new Aam Aadmi Clinics have been established to offer free consultation, diagnostics, and primary treatment, providing immediate healthcare access to all visitors.
Advanced Critical Care and Ambulance Network
To further strengthen emergency response:
- Advanced Critical Care Units have been arranged in Ropar and Sri Anandpur Sahib.
- 24 Basic Life Support (BLS) and 7 Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances will remain deployed throughout the event, ensuring rapid medical assistance.
Free Eye Care Camps at Tent City
The government has set up special eye examination camps, along with free lens surgeries, offering crucial healthcare services especially for senior citizens visiting the holy sites.
