“Will Honour People and Bank,” Says Mann

Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), CM Mann wrote in Punjabi and Hindi that such a high recovery rate reflects the trust and responsibility of local residents, especially farmers, towards cooperative financial institutions. “We will honour the people and the bank for achieving this milestone,” he stated.

Revival Plans for Cooperative Banks Underway

Highlighting the significance of cooperative banks in agricultural progress, Mann reaffirmed his government’s commitment to reviving and strengthening cooperative banking systems in Punjab. “We are making efforts to restore cooperative banks in the interest of farming and farmers' welfare,” he said.
