The investigation has revealed that the accused were assigned to execute targeted killings of rival gang members in Punjab, as part of a wider conspiracy aimed at disturbing peace and instilling fear across the state. This operation highlights the growing concern over the increasing nexus between gangsters and terror groups, often funded and directed by handlers based abroad.

The DGP assured that intensive operations are ongoing to dismantle such networks and prevent the radicalization of youth by international terror handlers. He further emphasized that collaboration with central agencies will be strengthened to ensure that those operating from abroad are also brought to justice.
This latest success adds to a series of proactive operations by Punjab Police aimed at restoring law and order and safeguarding the state’s long-standing reputation for unity and resilience.
