Addressing the gathering, Mann emphasized the importance of improving local governance through well-equipped administrative hubs. “This new tehsil complex will streamline public service delivery, making it easier for citizens in the region to access essential government services without delays or inconvenience,” the Chief Minister said.

The complex is expected to house revenue, registry, and land record services under one roof, thereby reducing dependency on district-level offices for routine documentation and grievance redressal.
The initiative is part of the Punjab government’s larger vision to decentralize governance and improve access to administrative services in remote and rural areas. Mann highlighted that the government is committed to infrastructure development and ensuring that such facilities are people-centric and efficient.
Locals and officials present at the event lauded the step, expressing hope that it would bring much-needed convenience and transparency to daily administrative functions in the region.
The newly inaugurated tehsil complex boasts modern infrastructure, including digital service counters, waiting areas, meeting rooms, and ample parking space — all aimed at enhancing the citizen experience. Bhagwant Mann noted that such projects reflect the state’s commitment to bringing governance closer to the people, particularly those in rural belts who often travel long distances for basic documentation.
