Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has extended a humble invitation to devotees across India and around the world to attend the commemorative events being organised at Sri Anandpur Sahib from November 23 to 25. The programmes are dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the Ninth Guru, Sahib Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
In his message, the Chief Minister urged people to come together to remember the Guru’s unmatched sacrifice and to reflect on his timeless teachings. Mann noted that the upcoming congregation at Sri Anandpur Sahib stands as an opportunity for people of all faiths to reconnect with the values of courage, compassion, and religious freedom that Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji upheld.
Large-Scale Arrangements for Pilgrims
The state government has made extensive arrangements to ensure the comfort and safety of visitors expected to gather in large numbers. Special transportation, medical facilities, and accommodation support are being put in place for pilgrims arriving from different states and countries. Local authorities have been instructed to coordinate seamlessly to maintain smooth flow of activities throughout the three-day event.
Cultural and Spiritual Programmes Planned
Officials revealed that the commemorative events will include kirtan darbars, historical exhibitions, and discourses focused on Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life, philosophy, and contribution to the protection of religious freedom. Scholars, ragis, and prominent Sikh leaders will participate in the programmes, highlighting the Guru’s unparalleled courage and principles.
