Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann invited industrialists from India and abroad to invest in Punjab while addressing participants at the Bharat Textile Expo in New Delhi. He said the state government is committed to creating a business-friendly environment and encouraging industrial growth through investor-focused policies.

Mann stated that Punjab has emerged as the top-ranked state in the country for ease of doing business. He highlighted several initiatives introduced by the government, including simplified approval processes, the green stamp paper system, and uninterrupted power supply for industries. According to him, these measures have helped improve the investment climate and made it easier for businesses to establish operations in the state.

The Chief Minister said Punjab has attracted investment proposals worth around ₹2 lakh crore, which are expected to generate nearly five lakh employment opportunities. He also expressed confidence that Mohali is developing into a major technology and innovation hub, comparing its growth potential to that of Silicon Valley.
During his interaction with business leaders, Mann emphasized that the Punjab government considers entrepreneurs and industrialists as important partners in the state’s development. He assured investors that the administration would continue to provide support and maintain policies aimed at promoting industrial expansion and economic progress.
Reiterating his invitation, Mann encouraged companies from across the country and overseas to explore investment opportunities in Punjab. He said the state offers a supportive ecosystem, modern infrastructure, and a proactive government committed to fostering sustainable economic growth, creating jobs, and strengthening Punjab’s position as a preferred destination for industry and business.
