According to Mann, Punjab has received investments worth ₹1.89 lakh crore over the past four years, leading to the creation of 6.31 lakh new employment opportunities. Hunar Punjab Portal to Connect Youth with Local Jobs
The Hunar Punjab portal has been launched to help young people find employment opportunities closer to their homes. The platform aims to connect job seekers with industries that require skilled workers, helping employers identify suitable candidates while improving access to jobs for local youth.
The initiative focuses on bridging the gap between the skills available among Punjab’s workforce and the requirements of industries. Fast-Track Punjab Launches Financial Incentive Module
Alongside Hunar Punjab, the state government has launched the Financial Incentive Module, also described as a passbook, under Fast-Track Punjab.
The module is intended to provide investors with transparent information about the incentives and facilities available to them. Making such information accessible through a digital platform can help businesses understand the support offered by the state government and navigate investment-related processes more clearly.
