Apart from enforcement action, Punjab Police also focused on rehabilitation and de-addiction. During the campaign, 10 individuals were counselled and persuaded to voluntarily undergo treatment at de-addiction and rehabilitation centres. The initiative highlights the government’s dual approach of taking strict action against drug traffickers while supporting individuals struggling with substance abuse.
