Temporary Parking Zones and Trolley Cities Set Up
Punjab Police announced that dedicated parking areas, special parking zones, and “Trolley Cities” have been established to manage the heavy inflow of vehicles expected during the commemorative events. These arrangements aim to prevent congestion on key routes leading to Sri Anandpur Sahib and ensure the safe movement of pilgrims.
Live Traffic and Parking Navigation
To make navigation easier, the state has activated live traffic updates and real-time parking information through the Mappls App by MapmyIndia. Devotees can track road conditions, locate parking sites, and plan their entry and exit routes directly from the map interface.
Authorities have urged visitors to download the app and check updates before beginning their journey to avoid delays and ensure a hassle-free experience.
Advisory for Pilgrims
Officials have encouraged devotees to plan their visits in advance and follow police advisories for safe travel. With lakhs of visitors expected between November 23 and 25, the enhanced arrangements are aimed at ensuring orderly movement and minimal disruptions across the region.
