Bhagwant Mann, in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), continued its statewide crackdown on organised crime under the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign, carrying out targeted raids at identified and mapped locations across Punjab on Day 163 of the operation.

According to Punjab Police, 565 raids were conducted across the state, resulting in the arrest of 303 individuals. During the operation, police also apprehended five proclaimed offenders and recovered five weapons from different locations.

Punjab Police reiterated that the coordinated action with the AGTF is aimed at curbing organised crime, preventing gang-related activities, and maintaining law and order. It added that similar enforcement operations will continue across the state to ensure public safety.
The police also appealed to citizens to cooperate in the anti-gangster campaign by sharing information related to criminal activities through the Anti-Gangster Helpline (93946-93946). Authorities assured that information can be shared anonymously and said public support remains vital in strengthening the fight against organised crime in Punjab.
