Bhagwant Mann, in coordination with the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), continued its statewide crackdown on organised crime under the ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’ campaign, carrying out targeted raids at identified and mapped locations across Punjab on Day 161 of the operation.

According to Punjab Police, a total of 674 raids were conducted across the state, leading to the arrest of 382 individuals. During the operation, police also apprehended five proclaimed offenders and recovered two weapons.

Punjab Police stated that intelligence-based operations and coordinated action by district police units and the AGTF will continue to target criminal elements and strengthen law and order. The force reiterated its commitment to dismantling gangster networks and ensuring the safety and security of the people of Punjab.
The police also appealed to citizens to support the campaign by sharing information related to gangster activities through the Anti-Gangster Helpline (93946-93946), assuring that information can be provided anonymously.
