A tragic accident occurred on Saturday in Sagran village of Dasuha, Hoshiarpur district, where a mini passenger bus collided with a car, leading to multiple fatalities and several injuries. The mini bus was reportedly carrying a full load of passengers at the time of the incident.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed deep sorrow over the incident and confirmed that several lives were lost in the collision. Many others are reported to have sustained serious injuries.
Taking to social media platform X, CM Mann wrote,
"A major accident occurred today in village Sagra, Dasuha, Hoshiarpur district, where a private mini bus full of passengers collided with a car. There are reports of several tragic deaths and many people have been injured. I have directed the administration to provide immediate assistance to the injured and am in constant touch with them."
The Chief Minister also offered his condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the swift recovery of those injured.
“We pray to the Almighty for peace to the departed souls and a speedy recovery for the injured,” Mann added.
