Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann extended his heartfelt greetings on the birth anniversary of the great Sikh ruler, Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh. In his message, Mann hailed Maharaja Ranjit Singh as a symbol of justice, unity, and good governance, who ruled with equality and respect for all communities and religions.

Mann wrote in Punjabi, “ਮਹਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਰਨੈਲ, ਸ਼ੇਰ-ਏ-ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਪ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਖ ਲੱਖ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ। ਹਰ ਵਰਗ, ਹਰ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਰਾਜ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਆਓ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਮਿਸਾਲ ਰਾਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਵਰਗੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਈਏ।”
