Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday held a high-level meeting with senior officials in Chandigarh to review preparations for the upcoming Shaheedi Sabha at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. The meeting focused on ensuring smooth arrangements and comprehensive facilities for the large number of devotees expected to attend the historic religious congregation.

The Chief Minister directed officials to complete thorough cleaning and maintenance of all roads leading to the Gurdwara Sahib well before the event. He stressed that pilgrims should not face any inconvenience while travelling to and from the venue, and that all arrangements must reflect the spirit of service and reverence associated with the Shaheedi Sabha.
To facilitate devotees, the state government will deploy ambulances, fire brigade vehicles, e-rickshaws, mobile toilets and shuttle bus services at key locations. These measures are aimed at ensuring quick medical assistance, safe movement and overall comfort for pilgrims, especially senior citizens and women.

Reiterating his government’s commitment, Bhagwant Mann said that the Punjab government stands fully prepared to serve devotees paying obeisance at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. He emphasized that providing seamless facilities to pilgrims is a matter of duty and respect for the supreme sacrifice commemorated at the Shaheedi Sabha.
