Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday issued a stern warning against any form of protest that disrupts public life in the state. Through a strong-worded message on social media, Mann declared that road blockades, rail roko agitations, or any activities that disturb the daily routine of common citizens will be treated as actions against the public interest.
"Be prepared for strict legal action if such disruptions continue," Mann stated.
He urged unions, organizations, and protest groups to adopt non-disruptive means to voice dissent, emphasizing that causing inconvenience to the general public is not justifiable. "Any announcement, protest, or strike that disturbs the daily life of citizens will not be tolerated. Be prepared for strict legal action if such disruptions continue," Mann stated.
