Bhagwant Mann

Punjab Police has been receiving a highly positive and effective response in its mission to curb drug abuse and trafficking in the state. To further strengthen this fight, Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab has launched a dedicated Drug Helpline WhatsApp chatbot number – 97791-00200.

Public Encouraged to Report Drug Hotspots

The Punjab Police is calling on citizens to play an active role in identifying and reporting drug hotspots in their localities. The identity of informants will be kept completely confidential, ensuring their safety while allowing them to contribute to making Punjab a drug-free state.

Immediate Action on Credible Information

Authorities have assured that all credible information received via the helpline will be acted upon without delay. This initiative reflects Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's commitment to tackling the drug crisis head-on by empowering both law enforcement and the public.

Punjab Government’s Continued Efforts Against Drug Menace

Under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government has been taking aggressive measures to crack down on drug networks. Numerous drug suppliers and traffickers have already been arrested, and the administration is determined to eliminate the menace completely.

How the Helpline Will Strengthen Drug Prevention

Easier Reporting: People can now send messages on WhatsApp instead of visiting police stations.

Faster Response: Verified reports will trigger immediate action.

Greater Public Involvement: Encourages community participation in keeping their areas safe.

With this initiative, Punjab Police aims to build a strong, drug-free Punjab by ensuring swift action against offenders and empowering its people to be part of the solution.
