The operation was conducted by the Ferozepur Police, which arrested Krishan Singh, a resident of Patiala, and recovered 5.225 kilograms of heroin from his possession.

An FIR has been registered at the local police station, and further investigation is underway to expose the full extent of the network, including its forward and backward linkages, handlers, suppliers, and distribution channels. The arrested accused are being interrogated to help identify other members and locations connected to this syndicate.
