Punjab Government’s Commitment to a Drug-Free State

Under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s leadership, Punjab Police has intensified its crackdown on drug cartels, working to trace both backward and forward linkages in the smuggling network. The operation underscores the state’s commitment to dismantling narcotics syndicates and safeguarding Punjab’s youth.

Authorities believe that this heroin consignment was destined for distribution across various regions, with links to a larger cross-border drug network. The police are also investigating financial trails to identify key players involved in financing and logistics. Further arrests are expected as the probe deepens.

Further investigations are underway, with law enforcement agencies on high alert to curb drug trafficking across borders.
