Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan: 13 Thousand skilled workers will get employment

Punjab Investment Promotion Minister Anmol Gagan Mann shared the great news for the skilled workers related to the textile industry and said that more than 13 thousand skilled workers will get employment in this sector. The cabinet minister said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously striving to bring maximum investment in the state so that Punjab can be strengthened economically and the youth of the state can get maximum employment opportunities.

Anmol Gagan Mann said that the state has successfully secured investment of more than 3200 crores in textile, technical textile, apparel and makeup sector in the last 9 months. She said that the investing companies include Sanatan Polycott, Nahar Spinning Mills and many other leading companies. She said that the investment is likely to create employment opportunities for over 13,000 skilled workers in the textile industry.

The Cabinet Minister emphasized that this investment highlights the initiatives taken by the state government which is focused on creating an industrial environment in the state that is conducive to business. The cabinet minister said that the pro-industry policies of the Punjab government under the able leadership of the Chief Minister, good connectivity of Punjab in terms of roads, railways and airways, good relations with laborers without any residence restrictions and uninterrupted power supply are beneficial for business in the state.
