Bhagwant Mann completed his early education in Cheema village and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Shaheed Udham Singh Government College, Sunam. Before entering politics, he gained fame as a comedian and actor in Punjabi entertainment, known for his wit and social messages.
His political journey began in 2011, and by 2014, Mann joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), contesting and winning the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat by a margin of over 2 lakh votes. In 2022, he contested from Dhuri in the Punjab Assembly elections and won by a historic margin of 58,206 votes, later becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab.
