Today marked a significant day for the teachers of Punjab’s Education Department who recently returned from a training program in Finland. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met with the educators in Chandigarh, where they shared their experiences and insights from the program.

During the meeting, one teacher highlighted how Finland’s educators appreciated the Punjab government’s forward-thinking initiative. The teacher stated, “We learned many modern techniques for providing quality education to children in Finland. The Finnish educators lauded this initiative, saying that this revolutionary step will leave a lasting impact on students.”
CM Bhagwant Mannexpressed his commitment to continuing this transformative journey. He announced that a second batch of teachers would soon be sent to Finland for similar training. The Chief Minister also emphasized the importance of modernizing Punjab’s education system and encouraged the teachers to implement the innovative techniques they had learned.

This initiative began on October 18, when 72 teachers from Punjab were sent to Finland for advanced training. CM Bhagwant Mann personally flagged off the group, describing education as a priceless asset. At the time, he said, “Today is a historic day. Teachers trained in Finland will help us provide better education to our children.”
The meeting with the teachers marked a significant milestone in Punjab’s efforts to revolutionise its education system. With plans for more training programs, the government aims to bring global best practices to local classrooms, ensuring that every child in Punjab receives a world-class education.
