In a significant success against organised crime, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab, in coordination with the Hoshiarpur Police, has arrested two active members of the notorious Jaggu Bhagwanpuria Gang — Swinder Singh alias Bodhi and Sukhman alias Jashan, both hailing from Kalanaur, Gurdaspur.
According to official reports, the arrests led to the recovery of two Glock pistols, one Zegana pistol, one PX30 pistol, and one motorcycle from the accused.
Foreign Connection Uncovered
Preliminary investigations have revealed that both accused were operating under the directions of foreign handler Amrit Dalam. They are also wanted in a firing incident at a medical shop in Wadala Bangar, Kalanaur, targeting Dr. Hari Singh.
An FIR under the Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Dasuya, Hoshiarpur, and further investigation into their network and international links is currently in progress.
