CM Bhagwant Mann Releases Poster Of "Khedan Halqa Sunam Diyan"

The poster of the games being held in Halka Sunam in memory of late father of Information and Public Relations Minister Aman Arora and former minister Babu Bhagwan Das Arora was released today.

This poster was jointly released by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aman Arora at the CM residence. After releasing the poster, Minister Arora said that the 'Khedan Halka Sunam Ki' tournament sponsored by Babu Bhagwan Das Arora Memorial Foundation will be held at Shaheed Bhai Mati Das Senior Secondary School, Longowal from February 4 to February 5, 2023.

Bhagwant Mann Is A Sports Lover

Sharing information about the sports of Halka Sunam, Cabinet Minister Arora said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who is a sports lover, is also a good player in volleyball shooting. Due to which, under the commitment to promote sports at the grassroots level, volleyball shooting, volleyball smashing and tug-of-war competitions will be conducted in this tournament to promote sports culture.

'Khedan Watan Punjab Ki' was recently organized by the Hon'ble Government

It must be mentioned here that the 'Khedan Watan Punjab Ki' was recently organized by the Hon'ble Government. Which lasted for three months, so that players of international level can be produced by identifying and nurturing the hidden sports skills among the youth.

Cabinet Minister Arora said that the teams coming in the first three places in the tournament will be awarded with cash prizes and trophies.

Apart from this, Padma Sri heavyweight international boxer Kaur Singh (Asian Games gold medalist) and Padma Sri athlete Sunita Rani (Asian Games gold medalist) will be felicitated in the tournament. Meanwhile, he appealed that the last date of registration of teams is January 20, 2023, any player who wants to participate can register before January 20.
