Punjab Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh has said that the Bhagwant Mann-led government has delivered on its promises by translating commitments made to the people into tangible initiatives and public welfare measures.
Dr Balbir Singh Says Bhagwant Mann Government Has Turned Promises into Reality
In a message shared on social media, Dr Balbir Singh said that previous governments had made several promises to the people but failed to fulfil their expectations. He claimed that the present government had focused on turning those commitments into reality.
Highlighting the government’s initiatives
Highlighting the government’s initiatives, the minister pointed to free electricity, healthcare facilities and improvements in the education sector as key areas where ordinary families were benefiting from government policies.
He said that the benefits of these initiatives were reaching common households, reflecting the government’s focus on public welfare and improving people’s access to essential services.
Dr Balbir Singh also linked the public response to the government’s work with the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections in 2027. He expressed confidence that the trust people have placed in the Mann government would translate into another electoral victory.
He further suggested that the government’s welfare initiatives and delivery of public services would remain important factors in shaping its relationship with the people ahead of the next Assembly elections.
The minister’s remarks come as political parties in Punjab begin highlighting their governance records and public outreach ahead of the 2027 electoral contest.
