President Draupadi Murmu has approved a bill of the Punjab government. After which it has become law. Under this new law, more than 11,200 people of the state have got property rights. 11,200 people settled on 4,000 acres of state land will get property rights after paying proper compensation. At the same time, President Draupadi Murmu has also given his approval to a bill of the Telangana government. After the implementation of this new law, the difficulty of getting bail for criminals will increase.

People of Punjab got property rights

Punjab Bhondedar, Butemar, Dohalidar, Insar Miyadi, Mukarridar, Mundhimar, Panahi Kadim, Saunjidar, Tardkar communities have got property rights. People of these classes were in possession of about four thousand acres of land in the state for several generations. Now these people will be given the ownership rights of the land after paying proper compensation. This bill was passed in the Punjab Assembly in the year 2020 during the time of the then Congress government. Now the Aam Aadmi Party government had also approved this bill, then it was sent to the President for final approval. From where approval has now been received.

The advantage of this law will be that these small land cultivators will also be empowered and they will get strength economically and socially. Till now these people were giving their land to their coming children from generation to generation, but they could not take loan on this land, but now after the implementation of the new law, these people can also take loan from bank on their land like normal people.

What is the new law of Telangana?
