In a significant step towards accelerating Punjab’s industrial development, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal jointly launched the Fast Track Punjab portal from Mohali on Monday. The initiative falls under the broader vision of the ‘Punjab Udyog Kranti’ (Industrial Revolution) campaign led by the AAP government in Punjab.

Addressing the gathering, CM Bhagwant Mann said that the new portal aims to streamline industrial clearances, promote transparency, and create a business-friendly environment in the state. “This portal will act as a single-window system to fast-track approvals and attract investment from across the country and abroad,” he said.
Arvind Kejriwal echoed Mann’s sentiments
Arvind Kejriwal echoed Mann’s sentiments, stating that Punjab has immense potential in manufacturing, agro-processing, and MSMEs. “Fast Track Punjab is not just a portal; it’s a promise of accountability and timely action. This is how we build trust with investors and create jobs for our youth,” Kejriwal noted.
Officials added that the portal will provide real-time status tracking of applications, reduce red tape, and ensure time-bound services through digital monitoring. The AAP government aims to position Punjab as a leading investment hub in North India
The launch event saw participation from industry leaders, state officials, and local entrepreneurs, who welcomed the initiative as a much-needed reform to boost economic activity and generate employment.
The Mann-led government has set a target of attracting ₹50,000 crore worth of investments in the next few years through industrial policy reforms and initiatives like Fast Track Punjab.
