Rohtak DC Urges Political Parties to Abide by Model Code of Conduct

Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar of Rohtak issued a stern directive to political parties against resorting to inflammatory, casteist, or religious rhetoric while the model code of conduct remains in effect. Stressing compliance with directives from the Election Commission of India, the DC emphasized the imperative for parties and candidates to refrain from activities that may incite discord or animosity among different castes and communities.

These proactive measures underscore the commitment of electoral authorities to ensuring a fair and peaceful electoral process, fostering democratic principles and societal harmony.
