Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed hope that the modern government schools in the state would produce leaders in every field who would take the country to great heights.
Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was organized on a large scale by the State Government. While addressing the people, the Chief Minister said that the government schools in the State were providing standard education to the students, making them capable of achieving achievements in every field.
He said that the students getting education from here would be the builders of the country in times to come. Bhagwant Mann said that the day is not far when these students will bring laurels to the state and country with their hard work and success.
The Chief Minister further said that these students are blessed with many abilities. He said that the State Government was making concerted efforts to channelize their boundless energy towards creativity and make them partners in the socio-economic development of the country. Bhagwant Mann said that the day is not far when these youth will write a new chapter of success for the country.

The Chief Minister said that this government school tells the success stories of Punjab. He said that the dreams of the students studying in these schools are to become successful as bureaucrats, doctors, engineers and other professions. Bhagwant Mann said that the state government was committed to give wings to their dreams, for which no stone would be left unturned.
The Chief Minister said that these youth have the qualities to achieve victory in every field. He said that these students were like clay toys and the state government would provide them a base to move ahead in life. Bhagwant Mann clearly said that he would not rest until the students of Punjab achieved their definite goals.
The Chief Minister said that his government is already tying up and collaborating with several industrial businessmen to set up units in Punjab. He said that these industries would generate many employment opportunities for the youth. Bhagwant Mann said that the day is not far when these students will run big industrial units to be set up in the state.
The Chief Minister sarcastically said that earlier the industries used to sign agreements with the families in power but since he assumed office, agreements have been signed for Punjab. He said that earlier Maharajas or Badals used to get the benefit of these agreements, but now Punjabis will get the result. Bhagwant Mann said this was because his government was working tirelessly for the betterment of every section of the society.
Targeting the opposition parties, the Chief Minister said that due to his pro-Punjab stand, the leaders of the opposition parties do not leave any chance to target him. He said that this criticism is completely irrational and based on the conspiracies and designs of the opponents. Bhagwant Maan clearly said that by doing this he cannot prevent him from fulfilling his responsibility well.
Asked the students about their goals
Earlier, the Chief Minister along with Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Punjab Education Minister had a detailed interaction with the students at PTM. He asked the students about their goals in life and wished them all the best for their future. Bhagwant Mann said that this exercise of getting mega PTM done will be very beneficial for the students.
During this, while giving positive support to the efforts made by the state government on behalf of the parents of the students, appreciated this step of the Chief Minister. He said that this effort will be helpful in making the students companions of competitions in future. She said that it has also taught her a lot about her children's interests. More than 10 lakh parents participated in the first of its kind teacher-parent meet organized in 20 thousand schools across the state.
He also appreciated the standard education being provided in the government school. He said that education in these schools is very good as compared to private schools. They said that the education imparted here has enabled their children to compete with their convent schoolmates.
